Beginning a blog.. Seems a little bit daunting to be honest!
Considering that I am not usually at a loss for words, undertaking this is quite confronting. Where to begin, and what to focus on?
I guess that the concept of blogging is something that is defiantely facilited only through the advent of Web 2.0 and the interactivity that this encourages. Being able to essentially publish your diary for all the world (well...the web savvy world) to see is something I find amusing. Never one who likes people reading my inner most thoughts it seems slightly contradictory that I am now going to put it all out there! Maybe the idea that a stranger will read and relate is what entices people to do this. Maybe it provides a voice to people who otherwise feel unheard. Or maybe a blog is merely the perfect tool for narcissists!
Whatever the purpose, intention or reasoning behind my blogging, a sense of catharsis is the ultimate goal. Who better to listen to me (when others don't or won't) than the realms of cyber space?!
